Kris Rashid writes picture books with the aim of creating spaces where kids feel able to explore, connect, and move through the world with hopeful anticipation.
She’s a member of SCBWI, recipient of a 2023 12x12 picture book challenge scholarship, 2021 mentee to Jamilah-Thompkins-Bigelow, Blogmaster for the Eastern PA SCBWI, leader of two critique groups, and a child art therapist.
She lives and creates in Philadelphia, PA.
